“i’ve always wanted to shave my head” she said.

If you don’t already believe in miracles…i think you will now!

After a major seizure just days before Thanksgiving - Tracey’s physical condition was declining.

Her left side becoming more and more paralyzed daily - an appointment was made with a neurologist…wanting to get down to the bottom of things the family looked forward to hearing answers.

Unfortunately - the scheduled appointment for Thursday was not soon enough.

Monday evening Tracey experienced 2 more seizures in the night.

Tuesday morning came and we found Tracey lethargic and bedridden. Within a short period of time - Tracey slipped into a coma.

Rushed down to the Alamogordo hospital the immediate family was told that Tracey was not expected to return from her coma. The doctor went as far as to explain that the right eye was blown indicating that the brain was dead. Advised to make her comfortable and to anticipate the worst. The immediate family could not accept this and asked for a second opinion. The doctor on duty was smug - feeling this to be fruitless while suggesting it to be a bad idea.

Dr. Ejub C. Hadzic was contacted and he made it possible for Thomason Hospital in El Paso to admit her and he directly contacted Dr. Daniel Lacerte, Chief of the Neurosurgery Division at the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in El Paso - Tracey’s original surgeon.

Tracey was then lifelited to El Paso.

After reviewing Thomason’s MRI , Dr. Lacerte declared an emergency surgery needed to happen for Tracey’s survival and the family agreed.

This was Wednesday morning. The surgery was a success and produced the answers to the questions of Tracey’s declining condition. A blood vessel within the existing tumor had burst causing major swelling to the brain.

Once the swelling mass was removed the brain was able to settle back.

Sunday morning we find Tracey at home healing and enjoying her daughter Vivian & husband Matt. (not to mention her fighting family and close friends)

She has regained some movement in her left arm and hand.

PLEASE NOTE: Have faith & hope - ask questions - get second opinions - and believe there are great things just waiting to happen.

I said a prayer for you today.
And I know that God must have heard. I felt the answer in my heart, although he spoke no word.
    I didn’t ask for wealth nor fame ( I knew you wouldn’t mind )
I asked him to send a treasure of a far more lasting kind.
I asked that he’d be near you at the start of each new day.
To grant you health and blessings and friends to light your way.
I asked for happiness for you in all things great and small.
But it was his loving care I prayed for most of all!
